Obsidian Publish? No, I didn't want to pay for it, so I'm hosting through a github thing.
If Obsidian publish lets you access like, your file tree, I can help from there. I don't know what their backend looks like though for users.
it literally just adds a button to obsidian that lets you checkbox your folders and files to get pushed to a site
As for RSS, if you have the Digital Garden plugin installed to post to Publish, it should automatically generate one for you, which is incredibly handy.
i am doing this now and this seems to be pretty much what i want (disclaimer: i have no idea how RSS works)
Nice. If you give out [your log domain]/feed.xml, people who put it into their feed reader will get pushed your new posts
If you didn't have the automated system you'd have to download the file, punch in the details yourself then reupload it to get pushed out
that sounds like a pain!!
i'm still looking into putting a like "latest" feed somewhere on the homepage or something for those not quite savvy enough for RSS which i'll probably have to do manually but so far this rules
There are widgets that will load your RSS, which can act like ya "Latest posts" feed
