Interesting. If you hit the Post button on any page where a feed appears (home, bookmark tags, your own page or someone else's page), you get the new Post screen.

If you do it from Notifications, Search, Settings, etc, you get the old post screen.

My only cohost meta tip that's worked for me is this:

  • You can have multiple pinned posts. I recommend making a table of contents of posts of your own you want to access quickly or show off. This allows people who hop to your page get to your favorite things. Can be used in conjunction with an "About me" post if you want. I use it to return to post "series" I make so I can keep linking back to them and have them all in one place.

Or a text document can work too, but I like having it on site in case I post away from my computer.

The three dash "read more" markdown code is my friend and please do not take it away from me ever. It is a godsend for truncating long posts, and not cluttering people's feeds with stuff that I think they may not want to read.
