Figured I'd finally make one of these. Mainly just to give people a heads up about what to expect from my page. There'll be a list of things below the break, but I'll try to keep what gets seen normally compact. This post will mainly be the things I'm currently focused on for games, tabletop, music/podcasts, etc, and will update as moods shift. Here we go.
- Tabletop RPGs - this is the big one. I post constantly to the #ttrpg tag, either for my general GMing stuff, little bits of info about my current game, thoughts about mechanics, and so on. Will randomly talk about games I'm not playing. Might catch some FATT/TAZ talk here too, mostly as a reference point though, rather than like, fandom style.
My "project I'll never actually start but I constantly think about" is an introduction to other TTRPGs video series. It would upload twice a month, one for the general explanation and one for a session of actual play so it can be seen in motion. This will never happen because I have little drive at times.
This has gotten more common with larger channels now that Wizards fumbled the ball.
- LANCER - Deep in the LANCER mines after wrapping the Shadowrun campaign. It's been really fun so far and players seem to be enjoying it, so that's a plus.
- Currently playing games: Hitman and Paper Mario. Working through my RPG backlog now that I can focus more. Gonna start using the "Whatcha playing" tag, as well as the game tags, along with any major acronyms.
- Big thing to know! I am legally blind. Underdeveloped optic nerves, so my eyes are kinda screwy when trying to see things at a distance greater than a foot, pending font sizes and such.
- Sports - Generally I'll use the NBA or Bundesliga tags, since those are the two leagues I follow. Specific team tags would be the Minnesota Timberwolves and Borussia Dortmund. Peeling back the Timberwolves posting because they've been playing like ass this season.
- Streaming - I will sometimes post about my streams to twitch, but not often. I don't want to be too annoying. Generally stream my speedrun game (Bonkers for the SNES), TTRPG prep, Final Fantasy XI, No Man's Sky, or old sports games.
- Being dumb and tracking major fandoms I've seen.
