for some reason youtube recommended me a tutorial video on how to disable popups on browsers. i got curious and clicked on the link in the description cause it said something about an "ai company", and oh boy. the url is coolzone.ai and it redirects to https://customsplashpages.com/page/6550/coolzone, and this is what it looks like:

a screenshot of the site, i am speechless i have no idea how to describe it

another screenshot, but scrolled to the bottom

wow.

it's easier to tell what they're trying to promote by clicking the link than watching the video. the link is an affiliate link of a website called ONPASSIVE, where you sign up for their ecosystem, which includes a video conference thing, a email thing, a... social network? and a URL shortener?

the first video is literally some guy telling you "you're absolutely gonna love this site". the second video is a tutorial on how to sign up. the guy mentioned something about earning credits? the third video is literally a robot voice telling you all about the ecosystem, with stock videos in the background. if i stumble acrossed this video without any context i would've thought it's a shitpost cause it literally starts like this, with an explosion sound effect

and one last thing: customsplashpages.com is worth talking about as well. the site probably ran from 2007 and hasn't been updated since.

screenshot of custom splash pages, with text like "your complete turnkey marketing solution!"

edit: i know i said 'one last thing' but i haven't even scratched the surface yet. the entire youtube channel is so fucking bizzare. the most popular videos seem to be normal videos of zoom calls with a guy named Ash Mufareh, who's apparently the founder of the company.

AND apparently it's an MLM?? oh my god that explains a lot
