so i guess "nibling" is either a verb for chewing on something rapidly, or a nephew/niece, like in "sibling".

but how about coming from nor in "brother nor sister", as in neither, so just another human being? and like anypony pretty unspecific also, and less silly and also less problematic, should we ever be visited by equine aliens. so i guess, the question is: how strong is the notion of "we are the utterer of this words' nephews/nieces" for nibling or could you imagine using the word to say something like "someone who is like a brother/sister to me"

in german i could think of geschwister -> genister, one might think of a cu...{wikipedia noises} holy fuck ok let us not think about that bird, but lets imagine a friendlier version of how several unrelated eggs might end up in one nest and be raised together like niblings...
