What the fuck is this webpage doing? Why would a web dev go "No, the user shall not be allowed to right click here". Why the fuck would any web browser allow that? The page actually does not load at ALL on my old + very agent spoofed firefox, presumably because it's old enough to know better when presented with that bullshit! Chrome doesn't even have "shift to force the normal right click menu" because I'm sure google wishes I'd only use my mouse to click on ads. Fuckers.

All I wanted to do was read about some fancy phone and instead I was presented with WEBSITE CRIMES made by WEBSITE CRIMINALS

EDIT: I think the reason this ticks me off so much is... it feels like someone saying "no no, you're not allowed to do that with your computer." It's MY computer, I can do what I'd like with it. You put your data in my web browser I can browse it however the fuck I'd like, it's not like I'm slamming you with API calls because I wanna copy some text or whatever. It's just fucking condescending. It's the same reason I Can Not Stand modern Windows, because it feels like someone's got their damn hand in my computer, trying to find ways to shove ads in my face or make me use whatever software they think will make me money. Can you turn that off? Sure. Are you constantly in a cat + mouse game against your own damn OS to do it? Don't lie.

I remember getting an email at my old job that said something like "users are not allowed to copy this text" and I immediately went "OH, REALLY NOW? FUCK YOU TIME TO COPY SOME TEXT OUT!"

God the web was such a fucking mistake. Once we moved away from static documents it was the fucking end. Also shit I need to start using non HTML email clients.

I found out the right click was broken because my past time nowadays is seeing a website ask me about cookies and responding by opening the inspector and deleting that part of the web page.
