hm... is there like a COC for the scenario of "existing on the internet" that says "we never fuck anybody over ever"? i mean.. all we have in this world is our individuality and what we say and we shouldnt break them for no one. do you understand? those pieces of shit up there, points at all the big internet corpos, i never liked them, i never trusted them. For all i know they had set us up with the bomb and we get signal. But that's history. We are on cohost and they are not. Do you wanna go on with me, you say it. You don't, then you make a move.

Following news of Unity's new game install fees, developers from all levels have been voicing concerns about how the new system may facilitate new forms of financial harassment while undermining the indie game community and disincentivizing success through their platform. Joining the chorus is former Game Developer EIC Brandon Sheffield, who has a thing or two to say about whether or not Unity can be trusted anymore.
