so I beat Zelda: Oracle of Seasons again, and lemme post the secrets (aka passwords) of my playthrough!

  • (Image 1) The Hero's Secret, which is basically a New Game+ mode. It starts you in a first playthrough of Seasons or Ages with 4 Heart Containers instead of 3, and you can use a
  • (Image 2) Ring Secret in order to get all the rings you collected through previous playthroughs of the games (or you can use other peoples' passwords to get their rings, or one that specifically gives you all the rings, it's up to you!)
  • (Image 3) The Labrynna Secret basically lets you continue Season's story into Ages, where there's some additional events and NPCs added that reference things you've done in Seasons. There's also a true final boss in such a linked game.

Of course, there's also a Holodrum Secret, you get that one by playing through Oracle of Ages first (be it normally or through a Hero's Secret)

shout-outs to Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wolf Link being essentially the reasons that caused me to become a furry in a way, lmao.

though it was a bit more roundabout than you may expect, since after beating the game as a 15 year old on the GameCube back in the day, I was like "Man, I really liked the story in that game, I wanna try writing my own story! :D" And I also really liked Wolf Link, but I didn't want to copy the whole "human protagonist turns into a wolf" thing, because I didn't want to be too obvious with my inspiration, so I decided to make the protagonist into an anthropomorphic wolf. "No one's ever thought of that before", I thought, completely forgetting about the fact that the Star Fox characters in the Smash Bros games (which I had played plenty even at the time) were exactly that as well. Whoops. :P

And as time went by, I realized that "Hm, maybe I like this furry thing" and that I was gay, so there we go.
