I would also like to not get notifications when one of my pages interacts with another page of mine.
I think the argument that I have seen some use against that feature is that if they let us do that, we would feel pressured to do it for every comment.
I don't really know what my opinion is on this topic, I see both side.
We already have it for posts and, buddy, I ain't liking every post I see.
On another website where I want to appreciate a comment but have nothing new to add, I've started replying with "<3" and it seems to work pretty well. I may do that here.
I've been happy trying to only comment when I have something worthwhile to say and then taking silence to mean that my comment was appreciated and the person has nothing to add, and given that people keep commenting on my posts without me giving them "Nice comment, bro!" replies, it seems like that's generally what people do.
