Oh, I can fully condemn killing of civilians, but that feels academic. It's like when people are angry at me on Ukraine and say "why don't you condemn Russian ?"

I condemn it, sure, but there's no point to it. I'm not a Russian citizen in Russia and Russia isn't the country we're materially supporting, you know?

I've seen people celebrating long wished decolonization that can't be unviolent up until they saw evidences of rapes. Then those same people clarified that the violent decolonization is okay when no raping is involved. Good for them, I suppose, to work on their theories on the go...

There are also those that call all Israelis "settlers". Those are either know nothing about the issue, or just going along with relatively recent Hamas' newspeak.

Like, that's what infuriates me. This goddamn fixation on labels and slogans mixed with the dehumanization of a chosen side.

There are people out there dying by the fucking hundreds. Not just numbers, real people. Real ordinary people—not the decision making caste.

When terror/retributive violence seems to be the goal, rapes are almost inevitable. And terror seems to be a huge part of what HAMAS set out to do.

Not surprising that they found recruits willing to do just that vs. attacking military targets and cops. With the way life is in Palestine, the desire to just lash out must be strong, especially if the state supports that.

Man, even writing this comment feels exhausting from all the feelings and bases to cover.

I understand perfectly well the dehumanizing effect of systemic opression, routine violence, and war.

My point was that I spit in the faces of champaigne socialists and various pseudo-left trend-chasers that think it's all abstract theories and videogames.
