honestly kind of impressive (telling, really) that this guy constructed a fictionalized version of the entire scenario from scratch, with full authorship over the backstory and worldbuilding, specifically motivated to promote his views, presented to an audience of friends who weren't aware it was a political allegory, and he still couldn't make his Israel stand-in look like the good guys

I need more fucking details. Because making Isreal look like the good guys should be easy, all you gotta do is ignore all the horrible shit they're doing and focus on the bad stuff Hamas does.

How do you fail at that? What was the DM doing? What was the perspective of the players? Cause apparently it was going over their head, so i need to fucking know.
