I think a lot of people have been describing games based on their relation to other games for ages, from "Doom-clones" to, well, "rogue-likes". Splattercat does this to have descriptive YT video titles.
What SEO wants more than anything is for you to mentioned the title of the thing you're talking about in the title. If anything, not mentioning the title in, well, title is good ol' clickbait.
I think this sort of clickbait works well on the Google news feed you get on your phone. Even I have click on that shit once or twice.
Nooo, the influence of SEO is most keenly felt in guides and basically every other piece of garbage that took over websites that used to review games.
Just imagine how many "TITLE+[gameplay feature] guide" from a single game! THINK OF THE MONEY!!!
