Curiously enough, they declared that the need to modernize code is NOW, but the first signs of it are .tar.gz and Java 17. But chances are that I just don't understand coding enough.
Their work on the AI is constantly putting actual studios to shame tho.
Unit decision making (not about mega mek specifically but in the general sense of decision trees, state machines, etc.) is like designing a whole additional game for each level sometimes, which is both really cool and super nuts.
