• Leaving fun little messages as save file names
• Using Asks to send messages to the other player

It's not something as cheeky/inventive as using Steam save space as cloud storage, but baby steps

• I don't play Warhammer 40,000 cos the rules are bad, but I follow new developments that I get mad over because I'm somehow still in love with the setting.
• I don't play Age of Sigmar since the rules offer me nothing I want, but I'm not as mad about it as the setting offers me nothing I want, but I follow new developments because ???
• I only have a single friend to play The Horus Heresy with and spending more money on that game would be silly
• I don't play Warcry because ???, but it consistently puts out baller miniatures I can't justify buying
• I don't play Shadespire Underworlds because it's too gamey, but it consistently puts out baller miniatures I can't justify buying
• I don't play Kill Team because neither I nor the friend we tried it over TTS with are that hype over the rules, but it consistently puts out baller miniatures I can't justify buying

so i got a new laptop and it came with windows 11 - i mean it's used (technically not a new laptop) but it's new to me, same thing - and that just doesn't vibe with me so i decided to put linux on it. i went with "fedora mate+compiz spin" - fedora because someone on cohost at some point in some comment said it was good or something, and the mate+compiz spin because it's ugly (which means it isn't material design, which makes it good) and i was intrigued by the idea of "3d eyecandy". it turns out the 3d eyecandy is actually a massive problem because if you go into the settings you can enable this thing that puts all your virtual desktops on the sides of a prism, and then you rotate the prism to switch between them. and there's another setting that puts fish inside the prism so it's like it's a fishtank. and i just think, and this is the problem, if i ever have to switch to some other desktop environment or whatever because this one is old and unstable or i just decide i want something new i will always think, possibly for the rest of my life, man, i miss when my computer had fish inside it. i wish every os had an option that put fish inside the computer. i know what it's like now to have fish in the computer and i can never go back

Doesn't look exactly like it, but memory is a fuck anyways, and the freaky GAMES doors Win3D is as close as I could find (or the the dude from the reddit I linked could find). Probably because my mind remembered it as Windows 3D, which brings up nothing, and Win3D... isn't that forthcoming either.

Man, what a time. Thinking that "walking" around in the computer is easier/faster than good ol' mouse.
