But what I want is a game where you both

  • multibase (put several miniatures on a single base)
  • have 1:1 representation (one mini represents one soldier/vehicle)

Tiny Tanks 3mm blog did something like that with sabot bases [infantry platoons have a slot for transport base to slot in behind them], and it does look sexy:

But when transports fuck off, there's a lot of sabot left on the infrantry base:

The only solution I could dream up involves magnets, but considering the base thickness, those would have to be some small-ass magnets.
