California and Texas working together to oppose the united states

1. Lynx with a plasma carbine was basically the MVP of the game, using her stealth and alien gun to elimine quite a few backfielders. Epsilon with an HMG also excelled in a similar role by utilizing his Climbing plus.
2. I rolled +1 ARM on my Bounty Hunter, which I considered to be a useless upgrade, loudly declaring that I'd piss myself if it came up during the game. It did, a monkey landed in my deployment zone and lost, partially due to the Bounty Hunter saving by one.
3. Last turn of the game was a hail-mary run with the Varangian to grab the enemy beacon with only a Taighaa creature able (or left alive) to intercept it.
4. I rarely ever win. 6:1 was a huge victory for me.

I will mostly attribute my victory to setting alternate victory conditions for myself - like using climbing plus - and then accidentally wiping out the TR bot, killing Bit (of Bit and Kiss), Doctor Worm, etc.

Now, I have never read it, but nothing I have read about made it look good. The Beast Saga contains GIANT and WELL-SPOKEN Orks invading Sol with a GIANT MOON and having human slave camps ft. breeding programs.

There is no amount of quality writing in the world that would make the awful premise good.

But it's furthermore sprinkled with trash like:
IF get wiped with a single survivor left.

And

Ullanor is Armaggedon and also the ork homeworld, so that's why they keep invading.

This was the worst thing to strike 40K fluff since Daemonhunters killed some Sisters of Battle to coat their armor in their demon-repellant blood (and also the whole "leave no witneses" thing)
