warning: these are going to be actively mean for the sake of comedy. I actually enjoy quite a few of these, although I won't say which ones. If you're going to read me going "your comic SUCKS" and get mad move on to another post this is not Serious Criticism.

this is only the the ones that people actively sent me; so if your favorite isn't on here that's because nobody would admit to it. do it, coward. admit your secret shame so i may add it to the board

as a kid. Still weird how the web comic reading part of me just withered and died aas I reached my 20s. At school, I even tried drawing my own, without understanding that maybe plotting shit out in advance or knowing how to draw would be useful!

I even used to read (download) comics, from original Guardians of the Galaxy to Transmetropolitan to Requiem The Blood Knight to Crossed for some fucking reason to that one low magic comic with plate armored ladies thay I absolutely don't remember the name of but I could swear it was something like Artemisia

Incidentally, I decided that graphic novels - or comics that have a beginning and end instead of going forever - were superior to endless Spider Men and shit.

These days, I just check KSBD every five months and move on.

When they released Gothic I, remember a magazine being amazed at how the NPCs object to you barging into their homes, let alone nicking their shit.

The absense of this mechanic was keenly felt when I started my ultimate Morrowind run this year. In fact, it took a whole mod to to mark stuff that people would own as owned by those people. Good for immersion, yes, but it was also a quality of life improvement since an RPG player will naturally want to take anything that's not nailed-down - and a lot of stuff in vanilla Morrowind isn't nailed down.

At this point, I don't remember if Starfield had homes with stuff you could steal, but I do remember being forced by cops to go undercover because I inadvertently stole a screwdriver.

Point is, games need more organic trespassing that's meant to show that it is an inhabited place, it shouldn't be constrained to brief stealth sections (looking at you, dated RPG The Witcher 2).

Granted, some don't even bother with a day-and-night cycle for NPCs, so this may be a tall order.

I love how there's absolutely no logic as to whether the next model is gonna be generic or Legion specific or what it's even going to be.

Granted, I'm not gonna complain about no new Lords of War, that category is entirely "models that should have never appeared outside Epic"
