But a lot of older Lithuanians are!
My parents' and especially grandparents' would hear the siren song of dachas/communal gardening - that is, going out of the city to the small shack and an attached plot of land to water the tomatoes in the polyethylene-covered greenhouses, pruning the strawberry runners, drawing water from wells, and forcing children to pick Colorado beetles off potato plants.
