Nothing gets in the way of Warboss Gordrang’s ladz. At least, not without being riddled with bullets and rokkits, smashed flat with an assortment of piston-driven klaws, then trampled into the mud by a stampede of bellowing lunatics. What Gordrang lacks in subtlety – and it’s a lot – is more than made up for by the brute savagery and resilience of his horde, who live to rampage across battlefield after battlefield and hurl themselves into every fight they can find.

Ork Patrol is iconic, esp. when compared to the boring Marine ones

Conquest: The Last Argument of King is dummy expensive. We're talking Forge World levels of throwing money into the fire. €150 for a player starter set? That's insane - and the devs know it, for they released Conquest: First Blood (skirmish ruleset) as well as faction taster boxes.

Yet it keeps on trucking and releasing new factions for the game. Now, I won't argue that the minis aren't pretty, but they're not €150 pretty.

What's more, what I've heard of rumors about the Conquest devs is that they balance rules based on vibes and not any solid playtesting data.

This isn't great in of itself, but doubly so when the game itself is boring and conservative with some interesting/innovative mechanics scattered throughout.

I would know, we made a podcast episode about the thing:

It's a shame, all those sculpts always out of reach, and the game afloat either by some weird dark money or massive whales.
