it's your dirty space future

bounty hunters hunt criminal-looking criminals from planet to planet

space ships fan be small and dirty

the biggest badass in the universe has night vision and two knives

nobody is particuarly shook by conquering legions of morbid troopers in gothic ships commanded by a guy who had been to the edge of the underworld and can casually rip out people's souls

If they made Chronicles of Riddick today, it would all be awful jokes about Necromongers being weird and soyfacing when Dick Riddick does something cool

Instead pining for the fancylad's kitsch hovel, how about asking why we can't have something that was cool, functional, and built less than 100 years ago?

They built it in 1929 in a grand example of Andalusian Regionalism, incorporating a shit-ton of ceramics. And it's beautiful in both the whole, abd the individual ceramic pieces.

And it's in use! There are government offices, a military museum and so on.

It's beautiful, I love it.
