Castle Planner's Journal is a piece of Neopets fan fiction starring my OC, Gaius! It follows him as he solves mysteries using Architecture and Archaeology!
It also has the distinction of being he first instance of gay romance making it into the Neopian Times, the neopets.com official channel of publishing user's fan content. Historically, Neopets has rejected all LGBT content, but recently started heavily embracing it. The fiction is also written in a way where the slow burn romance is slow enough to sneak it in there. >;3c
The whole thing is quick to read. Each chapter is a stand alone story, but will reference previous ones. Each chapter is about 4k words. Part 7 is a much bigger culminating event, and is 4 parts by itself. The whole fiction is 45k words.
