I've finished spinning all of the blended teal yarn that I started in May (I took a break for several months). assuming the smallest skein is basically representative of the weight of the rest, I have about 900 meters of light fingering weight yarn to use!
the yarns are as follows:
- teal: 85% merino, 15% corriedale, about 7 oz of fiber. approximately light fingering weight.
- cream: 100% bluefaced leicester, 2 oz total. varies between fingering and DK weight—I was trying to get used to spinning a somewhat fatter yarn with mixed results.

- red stripey: 100% merino in colorway "Mojave". a test spin to try spinning from the fold and to see how the colors blend up in a final yarn! I have a pound of this fiber to spin up and I'm excited to get to the rest of it.
- off-white: 100% swaledale. was going to sample up the full 2oz I got to try, but it turns out my spinning wheel whorl is too small and puts too much twist in and it's impossible to get a nice consistent not-too-tight yarn from it. I'm going to get a new slower whorl and try again later.
