but I also like following a wide variety of people so I'm getting a bunch of different shares as well. I don't think I'm following a huge number of people but maybe I am? harrumph
it truly is! yesterday I tried catching up after a day away by finding the last block of feed I'd seen and it was about +500/+600. Whilst it was fun seeing post replies evolve over that time, I did have critical mass of tabs open at one point doing so, so perhaps wouldn't recommend o.0
Yep, exactly. I think I'm going to have to remember how to not read Everything. Had that skill on twitter but then started only consuming a list with maybe 50 accounts on it, which I could definitely read all of sustainably.
This was always a thing on Tumblr too - there's so much good content, everyone reblogs it, and then your feed is a firehose.
Honestly, a lot of high-quality content is not a terrible problem to have tho
