I looked up how to do long exposures on my camera and now I'm out here learning how to locate galactic center for Someday Pictures. turns out the number of instructions online that tell you to use an app vs. just... tell you the set of constellations the galactic plane passes through are not small.
just tell me what constellations to look for. worse case scenario I'll learn some new ones
(for the record: galactic center is between Sagittarius and Scorpius. there's a pretty good picture here. from what I can piece together online, the galactic plane continues up through Cygnus into Cassiopeia)
