No okay that's it. I am gonna break into the house of the guy who invented markdown and yell at him for requiring a double space at the end of a line to create a new line.
I don't even MIND that markdown is not 100% WYSIWYG. I don't mind the stupid asterisk thing for italic text and the double asterisk thing for bold text and the disgusting way that links are formatted.
It's just this one tiny little design choice that drives me up the FUCKING wall.
