What I did with my cube was double-sleeve sticker cards to permanently hold them on and standardize the effect. Also to set up the joke that a certain card has the Mind sticker hastily covered up. Most of the cards don't even cost a dollar, I splurged for space Shocks and City of Ass and those 11 cards are like 60% of the cost in my cube.
This is not directly related to an un-cube per se, but something really cool you can do is a Magpie Cube
