Making games sometimes

And it's breaking my brain.

The syntax doesn't make sense to me, admittedly a non-programmer, and I've read through the documentation like three times now. I wasn't built for this. But I enjoy typing, and since I'm doing a fair amount of dialogue the writing part feels good.

I mark in my calendar the days in which I work on games. But it doesn't feel like work. Maybe more accurately, my relatively unproductive workflow doesn't feel like the way my usual process in GM feels. It feels like I'm cheating even though I spent several hours working on this game.

I've got a couple interesting problems to fix before it's out. But it's getting close.

It will be short and sweet. It's probably the most heartfelt game idea I've ever had. I hope that emotion comes through to the few folks out there with a Playdate.
