.) Genesis Noir episode of Notes on Games. Recording is done, and the unedited take is 1:23:00. If you've given the show a listen but have been wanting a bit more depth, more cruft, more existential waffling in each episode, this one ought to have it. I got my guitar out for a bit at the beginning for crying out loud. It's gonna be good.
.) My Pulp game is nearly done, shooting to have that published on Friday. It'll be short, sweet, and free. I know very few folks who actually have a PlayDate, so if you're in the business of feel-good philanthropic rechosting to get the word out, it would mean a lot to me.
.) I have a couple extremely exciting ideas for the Exhausting Games Jam. Not sure if any of them will come to fruition in a timely fashion, but even if not I do plan on getting back into my usual game making routine with this jam: https://itch.io/jam/exhausting-games-jam
.) By the time my Pulp game is out, I'm gonna do the thing and try to rid Twitter from my life. Since the Halloween Bundle ended, it's been of very little use to me on the game dev front. Gonna try to spend that energy working more directly on cool games or with cool game people.
.) On the note of working with cool game people, I'm hunting for devs, writers, or personalities of any kind to bring onto Notes on Games. The theme for the next season is: The Digital Tabletop. Maybe you love Dicey Dungeons or Zachtronics Solitaire Collection or Signs of the Sojourner. Maybe Citizen Sleeper's elegant systems and gorgeous prose keeps you up at night. If that sounds like you, hit me up! I'll put the word out to mutuals while I'm still on Twitter. I'm far too tired of hearing only my own voice to keep running a show like this, so feel free to break the ice.
