Brotato perversion is still in full force. I have now beaten the game on0 the highest difficulty with every top row character. I saved Alien and Lucky for last simply because they didn't appeal to me very much on a conceptual level, but they actually turned out to be very fun (and very easy) characters to win with. Funnily enough, Lucky does require luck to be on the player's side, since you need a handful of very specific items to drop to make a run with him even remotely viable. The player can sleepwalk their way through a run if they can get a good number of Cyberballs and Baby Elephants to drop, but things can get torturous without them. Alien, on the other hand, is incredibly powerful by default. He has to pay 1.5x as much for items as other characters, but he gets twice as much XP, meaning twice as many stat upgrades. Stat upgrades are much more effective at boosting your strength than items are, so Alien might actually be the easiest character to beat the game with if you know how to put together a decent build. ππ½
Two new characters got added to the game recently, so I would like to stream it again at some point in the near future to check them out. I don't think I will be cured of the Brotato Brainrot any time soon.
