I just played through Rock Band 1 on vocals for the first time, and I can definitely see why they didn't keep the system of scoring talkies based on getting the words right

For the most part, it feels like the game randomly decides to make me miss with no feedback as to why. And then I play the two French songs, where I completely mangle the pronunciation and somehow get a better result

I guess it's a cool game though. But not as cool as Rock Band 2
