So I (with a very great delay) finally got to finish Triangle Strategy. For those who don't know me- I adore Strategy Games. Hell- I have worked on one of my favorites before. They are a staple of my entertainment diet, and have been since I was young. When this game was first announced I obviously jumped on to every shred of info I could. When it came out? Immediately in to the deep end.

I got 6 chapters in, fell in love with the game and... ADHD struck. Tragic, I know.

Spoilers after the break, but luckily what goes around comes around and I finished it- and I just wanted to gush.

This game does an excellent job of making me feel empowered to influence decisions- but not make them. It was fantastic! It made so many moments where I was SURE of myself tense because I was NOT sure of my companions. Excellent story devices.

Beyond that- I also ended up doing something I don't typically do in StratRPG's... I ended up finding everyone useful. I normally just find my favorite clique, or a pod or two of strong strategies and just pile resources in to just them. Here... I couldn't do that. I found a key use for everyone!!

Good thing, too... that last leg of the game nearly ended me when I had to split my army in three ☠️

A meme that has Serenoa saying "It is ok to ask for help", Roland saying "You're not a burden", Benedict saying "Murder is ok", and Frederica saying "Your feelings matter"... lol

Oh- and why is Benedict so goddamned evil??? Anyone have an answer? I would love to know. Beyond that, the characters, setting, game, and experience is going to stick with me for a long time. This game has made a significant impression on me- and is definitely an easy recommendation for folks.
