Really love modern fallen London patch notes, because every single one of them is like "oh that thing that everyone has hated about the game for 10 years? Yeah we changed it don't worry bout it NBD if you got fucked by it in the past that sucks but we solved it"

They changed it so you don't sell the location on faction cards anymore, there's a special storylet for it
Which means no more accidentally clicking the sell button and ruining your reward as so, so many people have done
I think maybe in the past they were a bit hesitant to fix things after people got burned by them without also compensating those people. Which is totally understandable! A backlash could reasonably be expected.
But they're finding a much smaller backlash than anticipated. Between that, and a larger number of new players who could be saved from getting burned, they're more willing to make those retroactive fixes.
I mean if they can drop the fate price for old content, they can do anything. That's actual real money involved, and the median reaction I saw was "yeah, I guess so."
funnily enough we accidentally clicked it about two days before they fixed it. if we had just been more competent for two (2) days...
I'm still annoyed about selling the location of the cave of the Nadir with a misclick. I would pay fate or twice what I got for selling it to unsell it.
