people might argue Signalis is a Good game or a Bad game but that doesn't matter. What matters is that it's a game that goes "what if Android girls had weird little hoof feet" and has permanently imprinted that onto the minds of a thousand lesbians online. We'll be seeing the fruits of that for years to come.

The six inventory slots and the item management for key items it induced was a real pain for a lot of people. The most recent patch fixed a lot of those complaints.
huh. well, i'd more so distinguish that as "not for me" or "i disagree with this design choice" more so than calling the game bad, if i had that problem... but i guess the nuance between "game intentionally does thing that isn't for me" and "game is bad" is lost on the internet

I think it was that along with the bleak setting that turned people off. Unfortunately, I concur with you on a lot of people not understanding the nuances and concluding "not for me therefore bad." Reminds me of people yelling at Neil Gaiman last year due to the ending of Good Omens season 2.
my main issue isn't the game itself but that people exclusively focus on the robot lesbians when it's the horror and bleak setting that turns me off from it
what matters is that signalis is peak. it rocks. you should play it
