Hi i'm Junebug, the bug from online. I'm very cool and everyone who has ever met me loves me.

For me they are most times ranked in timeline order, Sayian Saga > Freiza Saga > Android/Cell Saga > Buu Saga.
i love all of it but i especially love when its an adventure story with goku and his friends going around to different weird places trying to find the dragon balls, excited for daima to return to that
some things I like that get cited less often in these lists:
Dead Zone is a fantastic movie set in that brief period of time when Dragon Ball was still a martial arts comedy. and it's the part of Piccolo's arc where he was a rival and tenuous ally to Goku, no longer an antagonist but not yet a hero.
I'm generally ambivalent about GT (I had stronger, negative feelings in the time period where it was the last Dragon Ball content that existed), but I think the Black Star arc with Goku, Trunks, and Pan traveling around is a fun callback to the original show
some things that are popular but not quite as obvious as Namek:
the Super manga that Toyotarō does is fun. can't imagine how he's feeling right now as toriyama's chosen successor! he's basically someone who grew up only drawing Dragon Ball and now draws Dragon Ball professionally
the latest movie (Super Hero) is a very good movie that makes beloved side characters the protagonists for once instead of Goku, something Toriyama always tried to do but usually had to abandon or walk back after audience reception
the King Piccolo and Piccolo Jr arcs at the end of Dragon Ball are as good as anything in Z and established the blueprint for all of those arcs
people like Fusion Reborn for Janemba but less people talk about how its the most intimate, erotic portrayal of the fusion dance ever. wouldnt surprise me if its what steven universe was most directly inspired by with its approach to fusion
don't skip the original manga. I love all the adaptations but Toriyama's art is so expressive and a joy to look at. an unparalleled talent
