you know what the nicest thing about NL is?

you follow most twitch streamers for a while and then suddenly you discover that because they hit it big while playing nintendo games online they don't know how to like, make food or somethin, and they go on a rant about ordering doordash 7 days a week and you feel your soul drop out from your body

northernlion is so fucking normal. he's like the most normal dude to ever exist. his thing he's too good at is Movie Trivia. he's just some fucking guy

i don't remember who said it but someone said northernlion is Jerma for people with jobs and they were fucking right

it's wild to me because like. the general grouping of YouTuber he hangs out with and does collabs with are all kinda of insufferable to me, but his solo stuff is soooo so good, the guy is just absolutely top tier at running commentary and has legit good taste in games.

NL is one of the few streamers i'll watch/listen to pretty much regardless of what he's doing. like yeah it's Neat when i get to watch him play a game i like but also sure, fuck it, i'll watch him play obscure geography trivia games for 2 hours and be entertained the whole time
