this game did cinematic big awesome platformer better then anyone else and it makes everybody else look bad by comparison. incredible game. so fucking good
okay well, rayman lemons also looks good. that one can stay
it's wild how similar they are. both follow ups to old franchises that started as 2d platformers, got big 3d entries, and then turned into gimmicky weird entries that the fans kinda hated; then a studio comes in and makes an old school 2d platformer that's EXTREMELY heavy on Style and great but flawed (and a little racist), and then they make the sequel that just takes the original and hammers it into perfection
and that's it lol
both originally came out on the wii u where nobody fucking played them but then got ported to other systems where they got the respect they deserve
both will never, ever get a sequel no matter how much we want it,
