When I first played The Thousand Year Door it left me with two impressions: One, this is maybe the greated RPG of all time. And two, wow i sure seem to like Vivian for reasons I cannot identify. I wonder what those could be...
Anyways 15 years and one transition later, I'm glad the story and characters are getting some love again.
I wish Nintendo wasn't one of the most evil game companies in the planet! I wish my entire motivation for this art wasn't repeatedly sapped out of me every time they did a new arts-hostile move. I feel bad posting this on the day that Nintendo killed Heaven Studio a project to make culturally open a style of game that thousands of people love and adore!
We have no true trans rights under capitalism. What right could we possibly have? The right to be commodified? Only as far as we pass, only as far as we're profitable, only as far as our gender identities are convenient for the machine.
Fuck Nintendo. Trans rights.
Also I am unemployed currently so if you like my art feel free to buy me a coffee.
