Want to fill your game with wacky bullshit? here's how. Gonna start with the easiest stuff (adding mods), then talk about the annoying stuff (adding characters/new skateboards), then finish with some random mods I think are cool as fuck and you should try

TO INSTALL MODS/MAPS

• Go to https://thunderstore.io/c/bomb-rush-cyberfunk/
• Download R2ModMan
• Install r2modman, open it up, and choose bomb rush cyberfunk. This is... really self explanatory
• Once it's setup and on the page for bomb rush cyberfunk (you should see that you have no mods installed) just... click on any mod on the thunderstore page, and click on the "install with mod manager" button for it to automatically install. That's all it takes! wanna download chicago from tony hawk's pro skater? just go to the page for it, click "install with mod manager", and r2modman will handle everything including all other necessary prerequisite mods. It's literally just that easy.
• To play the game with your mods, just click "launch modded" on r2modman!
• NOTE: YOU WILL SEE CHARACTER MODS ON THUNDERSTORE.IO THAT USE "CHARACTER API": DON'T USE THESE. All the modern character stuff uses crewboom, which i explain below; character api is a lot worse lol and often causes bugs in my experience.

It's made by SlopCrew, the modding community behind the big multiplayer mod, and is their second attempt at a big holiday themed mod. Their previous one (a halloween themed mod) was impressive, but still very much a fan mod; to do stuff in it you had to pay attention to the modding console and see if you made progress. It was cool, but not "drop everything and play this".

Their christmas mod, though, holy SHIT. This has:

1. a complete retheming of a massive area in game including new art, new grind rails and interactables, interactive snow all over the ground, little snowmen that you can knock the heads off, and even a little cutscene showing off the area
2. multiple new sets of collectibles, including graffiti, outfits, and gear
3. an entirely new quest with custom-made characters, custom made items to find, and a custom made progress tracker
4. Multiple buildings added specifically for this mod that are all interactable in different ways, including one that gets bigger as you play more of the mod
5. multiple new mini-areas? with custom challenges for them?
6. an app on your phone to adjust the mod's settings, no needing to fuck around with mod menus
7. new winter outfits for 7 major characters, fully remodeled to look cute in the snow with multiple palates for each

AND it's incredibly easy to install cause of r2modman and thunderstore. One click installs and that's it. This shit RULES
