On twitter I'm seeing people baffled by new apps forbidding nsfw content. I don't understand why everyone keeps getting surprised by this? I thought it was common knowledge that Apple completely forbids porn on apps.
Tumblr got in trouble for this.
ArtStation got in trouble for artistic nudity
Artfol, an app only art app originally said they were going to allow it but then had to backtrack when people were raising concerns.
The only reason twitter gets away with it is 1. They have a website where they aren't beholden to apples tos and 2. They (used to) have major advertisers backing them up.
