"meat lovers" as in the pizza is typically translated into french as amateurs de viande, which to my canadian-grade-school-french ear comes across as, essentially, "meat hobbyist." Which, I mean, more or less makes sense SEMANTICALLY, but I wouldn't say most people love meat the way they might love skateboarding or playing guitar or whatever
