Yes yes obviously abolishing copyright actually makes many of you quite happy but
1: if this is you then you are probably not calling for its expansion in the first place
2: in copyright's very mild defense, if it COMPLETELY didn't exist then Disney could just sell anything you ever make with no recourse. Sure, you'd also be able to sell your own copies, but whoever has the larger advertising budget would simply win
