man, Twitter users are so unnecessarily aggro and mean. I posted a silly apology cake meme over there that I made in like 5 minutes, right? just a thing I made cuz i was thinking about how many ppl I've given my messenger contacts to and then never actually talked to. a little moment of genuineness via an old meme format

and today I woke up to a quote retweet on it just saying "can we stop posting these I've been seeing them since 2015"

like. why do Twitter users feel the need to do that? it was probably on their timeline for all of one minute, max. why take the time out of your day to dunk on someone being genuine in a way you don't like? I don't get it

it's such an ingrained thing in Twitter culture to just be unnecessarily mean and put down others with shit like this. they weren't even trying to be funny or make a joke, it was just outright mean. it's like Twitter makes you forget that there are usually actual other people on the receiving end

fucking lmao, some folks need to chill

honestly i've seen it here with people feeling the need to Say Something about the "sorry not sorry" joke posts that were on my feed the other day, about 'stop being sorry' and shit

buddy pals we are making Joakes and Funnies you do not need to praxis us about it

but also i feel you on the whole "not being good at talking to folks on my messengers" lmao. I appreciate the times I do talk with folks though, infrequently or otherwise

if i had to diagnose it other than "people on twitter are mean", i'd say it's because that site really pushes you into quantifying everything with like numbers and whatnot, encouraging people to find some way to feel superior to other people. I guess "i saw this picture 7 years ago" makes them feel like they're better than you, which twitter's design wants them to feel.

my suggestion is to get out of there! Stay here instead, where you can talk about being an airhead and everyone just cheers you on. ❀️
