I truly think everyone should have at least one 'weirdo' fursona/character. just that one critter that's got something totally different to your other characters goin on. like for example, if you've got mostly standard furry characters, why not throw a taur in the mix? or maybe make a freak that's a fuckin mashup of five different animals. or something that's fully inorganic, like a plushie or a pooltoy! or maybe even some kinda anthropomorphized inanimate object - make a character out of a lamp; if brave little toaster can do it, so can you!
find something that you like that doesn't quite fit the norm that you think is neat and embrace it! it doesn't have to make sense, just make up a weird lil dude in your head and roll with it. I might be preaching to the choir here based on what I've seen of this site's users, but y'know. just started thinking about this and felt the need to say it out loud, cuz letting myself do something weird with my sonas way back when is why I'm so comfortable with having my weirdo interests now! and I think everyone deserves that~
