Unbeknownst to Magic, many new creatures had come to exist of all different kinds during its period of lament - a wide variety of animals existing in all kinds of biomes. It realized that it could not pick any individual of these animals to be the singular subject of its next creations, much as it could not pick one singular kind of bug to become the Fey. And so it set to work, sculpting as many of these animals into the next peoples to inherit itself. It called these peoples the Valean.

Magic's second experiment at sculpting life that could satisfactorily use it was a greater success. The Valean found themselves in much the same situation as the Fey, but they found more stable growth, as Magic's new rules appeared to work as it had hoped. Any conflicts were not fueled by the destructive powers of magic, as they had no concept of destructive magic within these rules. The Valean slowly grew from small groups, to communities, to civilizations. Soon they spanned the entire lands created by Magic. They bestowed a name to these lands upon which they lived and depended on - Magia Ĉielo, often shortened to Magia.

The Valean's growth had finally led to the exact tune of chaos and beauty that Magic desired long ago when it embarked on its quest to create. Not only had the Valean prospered, they had similarly created their own experiments, and even another group of peoples born from their own creativity and curiosity - the odd, varied, and fascinating Ettmoni. These peoples were hugely varied in form and capabilities, though many of them had more inherent abilities to interface with magic. For a time, this disparity caused strife as the Valean struggled with their lesser capabilities against the Ettmoni. In time, however, peace returned with efforts to engender a mutual understanding between the two peoples and establish equity and collaboration.

Civilization grew in all directions and advanced considerably with the constant thread of Magic's forces running through all of it. Cities, mass transportation, internet, and more all became universal and commonplace - all of these, however, are greatly enhanced and altered by the intersection of their creation and magic. The era had just shifted a century ago, away from a parasitic form of late Capitalism and towards something more resembling Social Anarchism. It is a time of relative prosperity and stability, marked with a push towards research, learning, and community. However, as we all know, Magic is not one for stability… And it is for this reason that we must continue to expand our understanding of our world, to prepare ourselves for the inevitable changes to come.
