kayde finally gets to meet (albeit, long distance via crystal projection) with the dragon who's been providing them with magical assistance. as it turns out, she's pretty chill. she quite casually answered kayde's many questions - including a request for her name: Sago. this conversation provided kayde with further guidance, eventually leading them towards the direct answer to freeing them from their pact.
older art i got from GumshoeJump depicting a scene from the D&D campaign i play in~ this art came before the design revamp, but also even now kayde in the D&D campaign setting still looks like old kayde - they'll come to look like the revamped design after a few years pass in the setting!
