Huh. Today I learned that Ctrl+L and Alt+D do the same thing. I'd never encountered the Alt variant!
I get the impression it's the lesser used one, even though I feel like it's the more ergonomic??? Though that might just be me doing most of my hotkeys single handed
Yeah if I only used my left hand I'd definitely find it more ergonomic; on my ergodox Alt+D feels maybe a bit more cramped, and if I'm going to the address bar I'm probably already ready to type anyway, so Ctrl+L just ended up feeling natural for me and I never investigated further.
