I found a tool that makes essentially iTunes style smart playlists in Spotify, and it’s made my work so much better. Other coworkers are even putting on the things I made independent of me!
Really happy with one I made that’s exactly 200 songs randomly selected from one of the five coworkers who most frequently put on music in one gigantic 1000 song playlist, to evenly represent all our tastes. And it’s set to autorefresh weekly choosing different songs from the source playlists (which for every given coworker is more than 200 songs) so it’s different all the time without putting in active effort!
Some of my coworkers music taste is nothing like mine and has stuff I don’t like at all, so it’s great that we can have some of that while tempering it with others’ taste. Perfect compromise that makes everyone happy bc they’re hearing stuff they chose multiple times an hour; Just infrequently enough that it’s a fun lil surprise every time
