when i was a teenager i was OBSESSED with Spore (2008). there were a good few months where i'd wake up at 5am every morning to get on the family computer and play it for an hour. when Galactic Adventures dropped, i got extremely into building worlds with it; in many ways, it was my first game engine!
hell yeah! never latched onto spore though did have fun with my time with it. my teenaged special interest at the time was The Beatles so i had a lot of fun making my first spaceship to be a Yellow Submarine
