This thing is the real deal folks. What’s really cool about the steam deck is that manages to be two things at once – it is both an amazing pick up and played advice for somebody who does not want to do anything regarding configuration, smooth in a way that almost Apple products are. At the same time though, it’s also an amazing project device, just incredibly fun to tinker around it and mess with configurations until it’s absolutely perfect for you.

Last night I played through an rct 2 scenario on this thing and it felt so natural. I’ve got a new save file of Celeste going too, because I figured that a game that requires that amount of precision is a good way to get used to a controller. And that’s a whole Lotta fun.

And there’s still so much I have to explore on this thing. For example I download hollow knight, finally, and I haven’t even tried opening that up yet. I’ve got emudeck installed, which allows me to have an emulation station front-end for emulation purposes. When I get home I kind of want to start downloading roms , I want to start emulating PS2 and GameCube and PSP. I want to find a good fps to get into just to get fully used to that on deck. Maybe something basic like emulating the original Halo. Or just picking up half life 2 for cheap. I’ve never really gotten good at any fps
