just made the sad, but probably necessary, email to the library to say i can't tutor anymore. my job + union + general life commitments are a lot already, and when you add in the teaching the net effect is that im just less emotionally available for all of the above. not only do i want to not be so emotionally exhausted when i see my girlfriend that i can't fully function, if that's how i am at the end of the day i cannot honestly teach with enough of the devotion that these students deserve. something had to give, and after 3 years of volunteer teaching im proud of what i did. but the time has come, sadly. I'll miss it but knowing it will end makes life just a lot easier
